NF Interiors was in charge of the complete remodel of this 300-year-old authentic finca (farmhouse) overlooking the Med in Ibiza. The clean lines of the architecture represent the Moorish roots of Ibiza. Each wall is at least 2’ wide, the ceilings were initially very low as people were much smaller back then and the windows were small to keep the heat out in summer.
With a large family in mind, NF Interiors designed 6 bedrooms, each in its own style with 6 bathrooms, including an outdoor shower and jacuzzi overlooking the countryside and Mediterranean. The entire house is covered in radiant floor heating, to avoid ducts and bulkheads, with polish concrete floors replacing the old terracotta floors.
The walls are either natural stone or white stucco to keep the character of the initial farm that once existed. Much attention was given to every detail, the design objective was to keep the overall look rustic and basic, incorporating clean lines and textures but provide an ultimate comfort both inside and out.
